Making Your Ceremony Your Own
Ceremony Music
Prelude / Seating Music
Can be played for up to 45 minutes Prior to the ceremony.
Guests tend to arrive earlier for weddings in nontraditional ceremony sites
45 minutes for nontraditional sites
30 minutes for traditional sites
Processional / Bridal Party Entrance
Music can change for every entrance change
(Seating of grandmothers & mothers, entering of bridesmaids and entering of bride)
Recessional / Bride and Groom's Departure
Music should be upbeat and celebratory
There are no real rules to the music used for the ceremony.
There are many Traditional Choices, as well as, contemporary choices.
Your music should fit your personality and the atmosphere you have created for your ceremony.
Instrumental pieces seem to work best for the bride and her processional.
Giving full attention where full attention is due - rather than competing with lyrics.
Traditional Music, although it certainly can be used in any ceremony location, fits perfectly in a traditional ceremony site.
Contemporary music fits absolutely any ceremony venue.
